<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare . . .
Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well - until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street, where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.
Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he's determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.
But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won't be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her . . . down to the very soul.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Samantha Young writing an adult book? I had the exact same feelings as when Kresley Cole decided to write a non-steamy book. These where fear (that I'd hate it therefore ruining Samantha as one of my favourite authors), scepticism (it could go so wrong) & curiousness (Will it just end up being a smut fest or will there actually be a good story here). Like Miss Cole though, Samantha did an absolutely brilliant job of venturing outside her genre and probably gaining a whole new hoard of fans. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Everybody raved about this book, and I can now see why. The story was beautifully written and the characters had so much depth, I could imagine them being an integral part of my life. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Joss was such an interesting character, there was so much going on in her head I'm not surprised she was a little cuckoo. I saw some parts of myself in her, and boy did that scare me. Although there's a lot of darkness around Joss she still finds the time to have a pretty good sense of humour, </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify;"><i>“Babe,” he gave me a look that suggested I was missing the obvious, “I never kid about blowjobs.”</i></span></div>

<i>The sound of someone choking brought my head up. Our waiter had descended on us just in time to hear those romantic words and his rosy cheeks betrayed his embarrassment. “Ready to order?” he croaked out.</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<i>“Yes,” Braden answered, obviously uncaring he’d been overhead. “I’ll have the steak, medium-rare.” He smiled softly at me. “What are you having?”</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<i>He took a swig of water. He thought he was so cool and funny.</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<i>“Apparently sausage.” Braden choked on the water, coughing into his fists, his eyes bright with mirth as he put his glass back on the table</i>.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Talking of Braden, him I didn't like so much. He was a little too 'caveman' for my liking. Okay so he's hot and obviously has issues, so I'll excuse his behaviour a little but I did just want to slap him silly for how he acted towards Joss at times. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Aww Ellie, sweet little Ellie. I'll admit I ended up crying because of her. I was all like 'why Samantha, why?' She was definitely my favourite character, she was so sweet and fluffy at the beginning. I kind of worried about her living with a narcissist like Joss. I didn't want her to lose all that made her, her. Obviously she ended up with some bad habits, but I think I'd forgive her almost anything.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 1.2em; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This book is a must read and as much as I love Samantha Young's earlier work I can't wait to see what more she has to offer.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>8. Bran II </b>(page 72)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Wow! Don't even know what to say about this chapter, only WTH? My first thought after that murderous, lecherous B******D threw him from the sill, the one I felt most sorry for was his wolf. He didn't even get to name it :(. He couldn't die without naming his wolf, that's just wrong. So okay, I did check to see if there where any more chapters from his POV and horaahh, he didn't die. I know spoiler but I just couldn't have kept reading if Bran was killed so soon. Arghh, how much do I hate Jaime right now! I can't even focus on anything else from this chapter, I'm just in total shock! Not like I've forgot the whole Jaime & Cersei, I quite frankly wish I could forget it. Looks like that image will stick with me for a long time. Well done Mr Martin you've got the shock factor.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>9. Tyrion I </b>(page 82)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">A little confused as to what Tyrion's deal is? Is he good? Is he evil? It could go either way with him. At the moment I'm a fan of his, but it seems to me he knows that Jaime and Cersei had something to do with Bran's fall and if he ends up sticking up for them I will not be pleased with him. Also he's got to at least have his suspicions about Jaime & Cersei's 'relationship', he seems like a smart enough guy who notices all the small things so there's no way them two idiots haven't been caught by anybody. I'm really hoping he's just not another Lannister. There could be a great character within him and I hope he's allowed to develop into the 'giant' man he could be.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>10. Jon II </b>(page 88)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So Catelyn's hate towards Jon shows itself yet again. This time, however, she's actually voicing her opinion in front of Jon. I'm really trying to understand Catelyn's actions but I just can't find myself liking her. When she says to Jon "It should have been you" as opposed to Bran lying in a coma, I just wanted to punch her pretty southern face. Yeah, I completely understand why she thinks this, and that she's obviously not in the right frame of mind to deal with her hate. But to actually say it out loud. Dude, that's cruel. It doesn't matter how much I understand her, I still despise her. Jon is still my favourite character so as far as I'm concerned she can go and suck a rock!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>11. Daenerys II </b>(page 94)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Not really got an opinion on this chapter, I mean I already know Viserys is a total turd and I'd get as far away from him as possible if I was Dany. I think this chapter just reinforces my sympathy towards Dany, what girl wouldn't be scared of losing their maidenhood, never mind losing it to a huge, scary man who you don't even share a common language with. I'm trying not to let the whole age issue make me dislike Drogo and I have to say he did seem like an alright dude when it was time to do the deed. I'm glad he's not such an A hole, I would love to see Dany ride off into the sunset with her rather greasy husband. I've got a funny feeling Viserys isn't going to be getting his army any time soon.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>12. Eddard II </b>(page 104)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Okay so kind of got the impression Robert's a jerk! Seriously I'm not surprised Jaime's after his throne, who would want this feeble minded turf ruling over you. What has Robert been doing all these years? Why is he only now worried about the Dany? I can understand why he's not too interested in Viserys, he's a fool even the King can see that but he's had thirteen years to get rid of this family he seems to hate so much. Seriously I'm not liking the fatty!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>13. Tyrion II </b>(page 113)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In this chapter we find out Tyrion is basically obsessed with dragons, I'm sure that's not significant! I find myself liking Tyrion more and more despite the fact he's a Lannister. I love the fact that he's so obviously flawed, yet has the quickest mind of any other characters. I have to keep reminding myself that Tyrion is, in fact, a dwarf. I love his dry sense of humour, I could see myself being friends with him in another life. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>14. Catelyn III </b>(page 122)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I just wanted to slap Catelyn silly at the beginning of this chapter, seriously the woman was deranged. I'm not saying I probably wouldn't be the same way but she has got other children to think of. Robb practically pleads with her to help him because he needs her <i>'Mother, I need you too. I'm trying but I can't . . . I can't do it all by myself' </i>omg I was nearly crying myself when he said this so how could his mother just ignore his obvious pain, especially as just before he tells her that her three year old son thinks everyone has deserted him. It was so heart breaking. That being said though, how glad am I she acted like a loony. If not for her delaying Bran's assassin, Bran would have been dead before his wolf even reached his room. I'm going to hedge a guess that it was either Cersei or Jaime that sent the hired knife after Bran, but are they seriously that stupid? I wouldn't have thought so but obviously I'm wrong because who else would want Bran dead. So once again I want to congratulate Catelyn on being a bit out of it, she just might have saved Bran's life. </span></div>

Yet, the vampire clan could never have predicted what they were taking on.
With Luke pronounced ‘off-limits’ and the blood of a vampire simmering in Jess’s body, can she forget the love of her life and move on? If not, she will risk exposing the entire Northern vampire clan to untold dangers, in order to live her life the way she wants.
Can Jess be sure that Luke is all he appears to be? Will she succumb to the attraction she desperately tries not to feel for Daniel? And why does she still crave a packet of crisps more than a tasty teenage boy’s blood?</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">A book set in Manchester (that's in the UK in case you didn't know). We should have more books set in the UK, I've found most YA books are either set somewhere in America or Ireland. I love discovering books that are set in the UK, so obviously when I saw this book I just had to read it.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This isn't just another vampire story. There's some of the old world vamp stuff for it to feel familiar with just enough of a modern edge for it not to feel overused. Let's not forget there's a whole bunch of witchiness thrown in there for good measure.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Although I liked Jess, I felt like I just new too much about her. She seemed to spend a lot of time in her own head just pondering over guys. I would have liked to see more action from her.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I didn't feel like I clocked so much with Daniel, yeah he was nice enough but I don't know there was just something about him and I couldn't make myself trust him fully. Maybe I'm just a suspicious person who knows, I just feel like he's keeping too many secrets. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now Eva I absolutely loved. She's one of them girls you love to hate and then somewhere along the way... BAM! You're best friends. She definitely added the extra oomph to this book and it definitely wouldn't be as great without her. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Although the beginning started off rather slow, I'm so glad I kept with it because pretty soon I was so engrossed in the book I was finished in no time at all. There where some twists in this story but I did see a few of them coming, although the biggy at the end totally threw me... I'm so glad I received this book and the second in the series from the author because there is no way I can stop reading these now.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>0. Prologue </b>(page 1)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Bam! We're thrown straight into this perilous world. A little bit confusing at the moment because I don't really have a feel for who everyone is and what this world is about. Straight away I can tell this book is not going to be all smiles and happy rainbows. I can already tell the description in this book is going to be top notch. Just as I'd pretty much worked out who I liked (Will) and who I didn't (Royce) they all went and got killed off except for Gared. Ah but just because they're dead it doesn't mean they'll stay dead! Can't wait to see what's going to happen in this novel, I'm already pretty much hooked. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>1. Bran I</b> (page 11)</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Aww Bran sounds such a cutie, even though he's only seven years old his dad makes him come along to the beheading of Gared (so that's everyone I bothered memorizing dead) which makes me feel oh so sorry for him. We're also introduced to direwolves and aww how cute do they sound. Never mind that they can rip you to shreds I still want one. In this chapter we're introduced to the Lord Eddard Stark's son's, who to me seem like they have to put on an act in front of their father. What I really got from this chapter though is that this place is god-damn cold. This is not a nice place to live by anyone's standards its all cold and hard but seemingly clean. The only character apart from Bran that I have any feeling towards so far is Jon Snow the bastard child (that's not me being cruel he's the kings illegitimate son). Its obviously the authors intention for the readers to feel more of a connection to Jon as he's seen through Bran's eyes as being rather awesome. I'm so glad he ended up getting a direwolf in the end, even if it's basically the runt of the pack. I'm sure all these 'signs' are leading somewhere epic but not sure what that's going to be just yet, but I can't wait. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>2. Catelyn I </b>(page 19)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Okay so there where a hell of a lot of names thrown around in this chapter, I didn't bother remembering most of them because if the get killed off again I'll just have to throw the book at the wall. From what I could glean, there's Catelyn, who's married to Eddard (aka Ned?). Originally from the House of Tully, Catelyn doesn't like the starkness of the House of Stark (get it? Ha). Basically this chapter is mostly giving us information (a bit much sometimes) and there's not much going on. We learn that Catelyn's sister is married to some old Lord that's just died. This Lord (can't for the life of me remember his name) brought up Eddard and King Robert, so they're basically brothers. After the Lord's death the King decides he's coming to visit Ned along with his 100+ followers of guards and such. Also along for the ride are the Kings in laws who are cowards and who Ned doesn't like. Oh almost forgot to mention the 'Other' sightings, apparently they haven't been sighted for 8000 years, so obviously the prologue seen was a much bigger deal than I originally thought. Don't know if its a case of they've been seen but by no one alive kind of deals, who knows. I'm sure all this will come to a big climatic scene. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>3. Daenerys I</b> (page 25)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So was yet again confused by this chapter. Because Daenerys (Dany) is described as a princess I was expecting her to be the kings daughter. Logical thought on my part? Apparently not. Turns out Dany is the daughter of the previous king. Dany as a character seems like she can grow very loveable and I have absolutely no problem with her. Its her brother, Viserys, who I want to stab in the eye. Seriously what is wrong with him? At first glance it seemed he was like this because he's the result of an incestuous relationship between father and father's sister. But no, Dany was conceived the same way and her mind seems rather normal to me. So what exactly is my problem with him? Its not even with him and Dany having a somewhat incestuous relationship themselves. I can kind of get my head around that seen as humans as a species have been known to this continuously throughout history (think Egyptian Pharaohs). I know. Its the whole 'waking the dragon' thing he does. What the hell is that about? Is it some type of euphemism? Sure sounds like one. 'You don't want to wake the dragon do you?', 'you do not steal from the dragon'. It was creepy to say the least. This is definitely a chapter to get us fighting in Deny's corner and totally hating Viserys. Its hardly hard for us not to hate a guy who would gladly offer up his sister to 'forty thousand men and their horses.'</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Characters:</b> Daenerys Targaryen <i>(Viserys' sister)</i>, Viserys Targaryen <i>(heir of Airys II)</i>, Illyrio Mopatis <i>(dealer)</i>, Drogo <i>(warlord of Dothraki nomads)</i>, Jorah Mormont <i>(exiled knight)</i>.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>4. Eddard I</b> (page 36)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So we finally get to meet this amazing king. Everybody (including his so called close friend Ned) is expecting some magnificent warrior who's built like some kind of giant king. What we get in fact is a jolly fat man who's as wide as he is tall. He's nothing like the man Ned remembers, they haven't seen each other in nine years so this is rather understandable. Straight upon arrive king Robert demands to be taken to the crypts to see what I'm believing is his one true love, Lyanna (who happens to be Ned's sister). Robby boys not impressed with his sweetheart being buried underground in this cold, dark place and would rather her be surrounded by the flowers and sunshine she loved so much. Ned, though, made a promise to his dying sister that he'd bury her with their other brother, Brandon and their father. There's also talk of another promise Ned made with his sister, didn't really know if it was still the being buried in a crypt promise or a different one all together. Its obvious to me that Robert is as oblivious as most leaders in fantasy novels. It seems he's sat on his (huge) backside too much ad doesn't pay enough attention to those around him. This is even more obvious when the king offers Ned a position as the King's Hand (basically the Beta to his Alpha) and makes plans to betroth his son Joffrey to Eddard's oldest daughter, Sansa. Its obvious to everybody, except the King, that Eddard in no way wants this position or for his daughter to marry the prince but he can't just outright say no to his friend and his King, so he's given the time to think it over. I've got a sneaky suspicion their friendship won't last much longer.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>5. Jon I</b> (page 46)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Sooo happy there's a POV from Jon. He's by far my favourite character of the novel. I can tell we're going to get some right good times from him. This chapter starts off with Jon drinking his weight in alcohol, which is never a good idea. I love Jon's take on the royal family. The previous chapter was focused mainly on the king and Jon's view, whilst rather cynical is entertaining and gives me an instant opinion on the members of the court. We become aware of Jon's interest in joining the Night's Watch because as he sees it he will have no life when all people see him as is a bastard child. He needs a good shaking if you ask me, yeah I understand why he's all depressed about it. Come on who wouldn't with the way nearly everyone sneers at him, like its his fault his dad shagged his mum. But seriously, dude needs to just get over it. Which is why, I'm sure, I've become very fond of Tyrion the dwarf (also the queen's brother). He has some words of wisdom, mixed with wry humour, for our jon. He basically tells him his life could be a whole lot worse, he might be a bastard but at least he's not a dwarf. 'All dwarfs are bastards, but not all bastards are dwarfs.' I love Tyrion sense of humour. He's got a right to be all cranky, really. How cool is Ghost (Jon's direwolf)? I seriously want that one. What could be more awesome than an all white wolf, with bright red eyes that moves as silently as the wind? Dude sign me up for one now!</span><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>6. Catelyn II</b> (page 55)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It turns out the Queen killed off Jon Arryn (previous King's Hand). Not like we didn't see that coming but you know, its nice to have your thoughts confirmed. This news comes in the form of coded letter from Arryn's wife Lysa. As the letter is addressed to her, Catelyn is the only one who does (and can) read the letter, the fact that she burnt it though straight after reading it, did not go unnoticed by me. Why did she do that? Was that really all there was to the letter? Or was there something more? This early in the novel I just find myself constantly questioning everybody's actions. Everyone seems suspicious to me. I'm not really sure how I feel towards Catelyn as a character. She just seems a little cold hearted towards Jon. I mean I kind of understand that you wouldn't want to be reminded of the fact your husband had an affair but its hardly Jon's fault. He didn't ask to be born. Also Jon's what fourteen? Shouldn't she have kind of thawed towards him by now. I don't have a clue how I'd react in this situation but I'd like to think I wouldn't blame the innocent child. As if Jon doesn't have it hard enough, what with being a bastard, he has to live with the knowledge that his siblings mother hates him. I'm so glad she hasn't managed to poison her children against him, at least that's the case with Bran, I'm not really sure on the other kids. </span><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>7. Arya I </b>(page 64)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We're finally introduced to the Stark's youngest daughter Arya (wonder when we'll meet Sansa). Aww I want to just lift her up in a big hug and squeeze her silly. I have a feeling, though, that this would not be appreciated by what is obviously a feisty young lady. Why are we, as readers, drawn towards the oppressed? I feel like I've found my kindred spirit in Arya. I too was often forced to partake in 'ladylike' activities when all I really wanted to do is run around with the boys and get all muddy. I'm instantly drawn to fighting Arya's corner, I hope I see more from her because she gives a nice light-hearted view on the world around her. Also I love the chat between her and Jon, its good to see another of the Stark children that isn't prejudice towards my favourite character Jon.</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Honestly do not know where to start with explaining this book. I'd never read a book by this author before but my nan absolutely adores her and seeing as she knows me so much she's been trying to get me to read her novels for ages but I've always steered clear. Let me tell you what an idiot I was. Jojo Moyes is now one of my must read authors and I'm raving about her to everyone I know (I even bought the paperback version of this book for my mum for Christmas).</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: left;">
The cover doesn't really give much of this book away but I was expecting the usual chick-lit, light, fluffy stuff. What I got however was a complete emotion overload, even sitting here now, thinking about the book, my eyes are filling up.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This story, with its heart-wrenching storyline, beautiful characters and wry humour had me hooked till the very last page. I applaud Ms Moyes on the way she handled the sensitive subject of quadriplegia and the rights of disabled people. It had me re-assessing the way I viewed the world. I always thought I'd react in a certain way if faced with some of the choices presented in this book but now my mind has officially been opened and I couldn't be more thankful.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I thought I had this book sussed out by the first chapter, but even I couldn't comprehend the amazing journey that this novel took me on.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I did feel a little let down in the ending, it all just seemed to be over with way to quickly. If you like Marian Keyes you'll love Jojo Moyes!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This book will stay with me for years to come. Ms Moyes I salute you!</div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Okay first I have to apologise again for the lack of reviews, I've just had so much on my plate these past few months. Should be back up and running properly after the new year.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Was just messing around on Goodreads the other day and I noticed that I've read a lot of books by the same authors. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So this year instead of the usual 'don't eat chocolate till after Lent' or 'go jogging at least once a week', I'm now going to read more books by different author's. </span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Below is a list of my top 10 read author's in descending order: </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1. Richelle Mead (14)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2. Rachel Caine (13) </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">3. Sara Shepard (11)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">4. MaryJanice Davidson (10)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">5. Rachel Vincent (7)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">6. Lacey Weatherford (6)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">7. Cassandra Clare (5)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">8. C. C. Hunter (4) </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">9. Kiersten White (3)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">10. L. Filloon (2)</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">*This is according to Goodreads, obviously its not accurate as I don't always update which books I've read. But for the most part it seems pretty close to the actual number. Some author's did draw & I didn't want to list them all so just chose my favourite author out of that </i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><i>category.</i></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Will be trying my hardest not to read any books by these author's in the next year. Obviously I'm not going to be successful but I will try to at least broaden my horizons...</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What are all your New Year Resolutions, will you stick to them? I know I definitely won't, I never do :(</b></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Who are you're most read authors?</b></li>

(almost)<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Wow its only three days till Christmas and just after I'd finished wrapping up all my presents, I noticed there's nothing there for my mum.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now that wouldn't be so bad if I only had to buy one present but no, its also her birthday on Christmas Eve and I have absolutely no idea what to buy her!!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've been so busy lately its unbelievable, what happened to them care free Xmas where all I had to worry about was staying awake long enough to see Saint Nick! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Ohh how I miss being young...<br />One good thing to come out of this holiday, loads of books are definitely coming my way :) <br />My bookshelf is looking rather naked as of two days ago when I decided to get in the xmas spirit by giving the majority of my books away to the local charity shop. Which was all uplifting at the time but now I find my gaze drifting towards my bookcase all wistfully. Obviously I ended up buying more books there and then (I even debated buying my books back) but they're just not the same as the ones I've grown accustomed to and I can't help but feel a little regretful. <br />Hopefully I'll have some lovely presents to cheer me up.</span>BetweenTheLineshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00525128993733282042noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088250024127264967.post-35767431780908076372012-12-17T14:35:00.000+00:002013-01-17T16:15:18.819+00:00[book review] Tempestuous by Kim Askew & Amy Helmes<div style="text-align: left;">

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recently banished, unfairly, by the school’s popular crowd, former “it girl,” Miranda Prospero, finds herself in a brave new world: holding dominion amongst a rag-tag crew of geeks and misfits where she works at the Hot-Dog Kabob in the food court of her local mall. When the worst winter storm of the season causes mall workers and last-minute shoppers to be snowed-in for the night, Miranda seizes the opportunity to get revenge against the catty clique behind her social exile. With help from her delightfully dweeby coworker, Ariel, and a sullen loner named Caleb who works at the mall’s nearby gaming and magic shop, Miranda uses charm and trickery to set things to right during this spirited take on Shakespeare’s The Tempest.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">To be honest I'm not one who would willingly pick up anything to do with Shakespeare, there's too many bad school memories for me. After reading this alternative take on </span><i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Tempest </i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I have to admit I'm actually thinking about it just to see which points of this book are taken from the original story.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: left;">
I loved this book, it was soo funny at times that I was receiving strange looks from the people at the bus stop! I loved the mystery of who was the bad guy, although my first guess was right :D yey me! I love being right. The pranks where definitely a highlight of this book, I was grinning like a fool through those chapters. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All the characters where wonderfully written. Especially Miranda, who I wouldn't have liked if in another novel, won her way into my heart. Yeah she seems to have everyone wrapped around her little finger and is a little cocky but the way its written you end up falling in love with her without even realising it. The whole Miranda & Caleb thing was a little predictable to me, I could see it coming a mile away. But all their little confrontations had me literally laughing out loud.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Like I said before, I've never read <i>The Tempest </i>but from other reviews I've looked at it seems that this book is a brilliant rendition of the original. Its so beautifully written that even though you know what's going to happen there's still enough twists, turns and laughter in there to keep you on the edge of your seat.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is a fun & enjoyable read that I think everyone should grab a copy of. I'm so happy I've received the second one in this series to review. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is a must read!</div>

Annie is beset by fleeting strange visions and a guilty conscience. Blind and orphaned, she struggles to care for her feisty younger sister Fia, but things look up when both sisters are offered a place at Kessler School for Exceptional Girls.
Born with flawless intuition, Fia immediately knows that something’s wrong, but bites her tongue… until it’s too late. For Fia is the perfect weapon to carry out criminal plans and there are those at Kessler who will do anything to ensure her co-operation.
With Annie trapped in Kessler’s sinister clutches, instincts keep Fia from killing an innocent guy and everything unravels. Is manipulative James the key to the sisters’ freedom or an even darker prison? And how can Fia atone for the blood on her hands?</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I loved White's début novel </span><i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Paranormalcy </i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">so when this appeared on </span><i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">NetGalley</i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> I was desperate to read it. Although this book was good I did love the </span><i style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Paranormalcy Series</i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> more, there's a lot of to-and-fro with this book. It skips back and forth between the present and future a lot, and whilst this does give us a better understanding of the characters and story, it is a little confusing (especially if you're like me and don't read the chapter titles). Although I like the cover of this book I have to say I love the US version much better (pic at end of post). I wouldn't have read this book based on the cover alone.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: left;">
I did love the characters in this book, especially Fia (Sophia). Fia has some 'killer' instincts, she always knows when something's wrong and can adapt to any situation she finds herself in. The thing that really stood out for me with Fia is, even though she has killed to protect her sister Annie (Annabelle), she actually felt guilty about it. Unlike in other novels I've read Fia doesn't just forget about what she's done, she lives with the guilt everyday and it kind of makes her a little crazy and unpredictable.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Annie, ohh how I felt sorry for Annie. She's been blind for most of her life and when she finally gets offered a treatment she jumps at the chance, not realising that by doing so she's hurting her sister. I didn't really feel any attachment towards Annie, I suppose it was because she was wayyyy to naive. I mean if I was blind I'd think that I'd have a hard time trusting anybody let alone total strangers over my sister. There's also the fact that she can supposedly tell when someone is lying, like with James for example she knows he's up to no good. Yet when it comes to Clarice she's in complete denial.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Adam... He wasn't really present much in the novel even though most of it centred on him. I don't really know who he is as a person. I was rooting for there to be something between him and Fia though.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now James. Arghh, he's one of those characters that you both hate and love. I just don't know what to make of him, is he good, is he bad? I can't figure him out. I can't wait to read the next book to see what his game really is, because I don't believe him for a second.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The story itself however was lacking. I loved it at the beginning and was constantly wondering where the author was going to take us and although there wasn't anything really wrong with the story, there just wasn't a whole lot going on. There was a few action scenes and a whole lot of mystery. But to me the story seemed to be mostly centred on how the two sisters are feeling. Which is fine at first but does get rather tedious after so many chapters of Fia feeling angry, guilty and protective and Annie feeling depressed and guilty. It was a little too much for me. </div>

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">New York City has been decimated by war and plague, and most of civilization has migrated to underground enclaves, where life expectancy is no more than the early 20's. When Deuce turns 15, she takes on her role as a Huntress, and is paired with Fade, a teenage Hunter who lived Topside as a young boy. When she and Fade discover that the neighboring enclave has been decimated by the tunnel monsters--or Freaks--who seem to be growing more organized, the elders refuse to listen to warnings. And when Deuce and Fade are exiled from the enclave, the girl born in darkness must survive in daylight--guided by Fade's long-ago memories--in the ruins of a city whose population has dwindled to a few dangerous gangs.
Ann Aguirre's thrilling young adult novel is the story of two young people in an apocalyptic world--facing dangers, and feelings, unlike any they've ever known.</span></span></div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So I've been on a Dystopia kick lately and let me tell you the books I've read so far have been absolutely AMAZEBALLS (not a term I normally use but in this case its necessary). The cover is pretty non de-script to be honest, there wasn't anything that pulled me in about it. I only read this because of the reviews of others, so basically it could have been... I want to say prettier but there's nothing pretty about this story so never mind.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: left;">
The world setting was really, really good. Now this is what I'd imagine a post-apocalyptic world to be like all chaos and human's trying to scrounge together, trying to figure out a way to survive. The description of the freaks was just gross, and ok I'll admit it made me want to sleep with the light on. If this book ever becomes a film there is no way in hell I'd be able to watch it if they look as scary as they're described. This is definitely not for that faint stomached, its a lot more graphic than THG, what with the subject of rape and murder seeming so commonplace they're practically skipped over like they're no big deal.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
There where a lot of inconsistencies in this book. Like one minute Deuce couldn't read and then when she went topside she was teaching Stalker to read. There's also the fact that Deuce has lived in the subways (don't even get me started on the wrongness of that) all her life, not feeling fresh air or even seeing the sun. But as she goes topside there's not really an adjustment period for her, apart from a little sun burn and needing sun glasses. It hurts my eyes when I wake up in the morning and the suns in my face, so how does a girl who's lived in total darkness (apart from the odd artificial light) adjust so easily to the blinding light of undiluted sunshine.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well the Characters, what can I say about them. There's Deuce. Now wow is she feisty At first she's all for the rules but slowly (and I mean slowly, it did take her a while) she figured out her elders weren't really totally honest with their enclave. She's a fighter that's for sure. Fade well I would have loved to know more about him, I never really felt connected to him because there just wasn't much to go on. He's more the silent, brooding type. He's also a total psycho, I don't know what happened to him after his father died (because we weren't told) but he just seemed like a nut job and to me. Now Stalker I actually liked, why I here you say. Well because even though he's a psycho as well and went around murdering and raping at least he was honest about it. He just came out and said he looks after number one, which is how I feel a lot of people would act in this kind of world.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Despite my obvious problems with this book I still loved it. There was just something that drew me in. The ending was just tres dull though, it felt like it just ended in the middle of something. No cliffhanger to make me anxious to get the next one, no little surprises hinting to what will happen in the next book. But I WILL be buying it. I can't not read it after that...</div>

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.
Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.
His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.
But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.
For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore.
From Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before.</span></span></div>

I was expecting some kind of transforming human/raven hybrid (I had just read Shiver so who can blame me) but what I got was completely different, not in a bad way just in a 'would-have-liked-it-better-like-this' kind of way.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: left;">
Although this story had me mega confused to begin with once I realised what was happening, it was yet another Maggie Stiefvater masterpiece. Thankfully I already had a concept of 'ley lines' and what they're about (thanks to 'The Vampire Diaries' books) so I don't really know what had me confused. I think maybe it was the characters, there was so much going on with them that I was a little lost at times. I didn't really feel any emotion towards the characters, to be honest. There was so much mystery surrounding them that I didn't feel like I got a firm enough grip on them as people. That being said I loved Blue's family, they where so eccentric it was fun hearing from them. I love quirky characters and these had the quirkiness down to a tee.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This ending of this book really just ruined it for me though, it seemed incomplete and just lacking. Obviously there's more to this story, we know that from the first few pages but I just can't see any surprises in store in the next book. You never know though lesser authors have managed it. I will be reading the next book as I can't just leave all my questions unanswered. Like who Blue's father is, I actually have some theories on that but will have to wait to share them.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It was a nice book but it didn't blow me away like I was expecting from its reviews.</div>

<br />
Okay so first off, sorry for not posting but my laptop decided to be a complete turd brain and kind of wouldn't turn on and got so stressed I wished it had a face so I could flick its nose.<br />
Anywhoo... Took 10 days but it finally decided it wanted to play nice again, so here we are. <br />
I've still been reading and all that shindig, so got loads of reviews to post, just don't know when I'll have the time to post them all. Seriously without my laptop all I've done is read, so there's like loads. <br />
Eurgh! I'm never going to get up to date with my reviews, what with Christmas and that...BetweenTheLineshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00525128993733282042noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088250024127264967.post-40759758539654984242012-11-30T19:48:00.003+00:002012-11-30T19:51:40.201+00:00Feature & Follow (5)<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Hum... Mines always changing. Atm I'm absolutely in love with Sinjin from the Jolie Wilkins series by H.P. Mallory. He's kind of a tool but he sounds absolutely delicious. I originally thought Ian Somerhalder was the perfect embodiment of him but then looked on H.P. Mallory's <a href="http://urbanfantasyauthor.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/author-discovery-post-3-sinjin-sinclair.html" target="_blank">blog</a> and saw she'd already found what would to be the perfect Sinjin if he didn't look so sensitive. Don't get me wrong this guy looks like he could give you a thrill but I don't know he doesn't seem hard-faced enough to be Sinjin! I have no idea what his name is but here's the picture. Would you just look at them eyes though, a girl could lose herself in them...</span></div>

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen.
But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Before I start I just want to say, that yes I may compare this book to 'The Hunger Games', and yes I know they're totally different books but the sad truth is 'THG' was my first proper experience with dystopia, therefore all novels I read from now on will be compared to it no matter how hard I try not to. Okay so enough of that, to my review...</span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is a dystopian novel at its best. Beatrice (Tris) lives in a world where you either conform to the acceptable behaviours of the five factions or you become factionless, living in a wild part of town, having to depend on the kindness of others to get by. Originally from Abnegation, Tris freely admits she's anything but selfless, but can she overcome her fears of the unknown and leave her family behind in order to not feel like a fraud any more.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I'm finding it extremely hard to review this book without any spoilers, so just beware there may be little plot giveaways but I'll try to keep them to a minimum.</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Let's start off with Tris. She's got kind of a mixed personality, sometimes she's willing to stand there and save her friends from certain punishments, yet at others she's acting like a complete self-centred thug. She just can't seem to find a balance with her emotions, I don't know maybe its the Divergent in her, maybe its not, I don't really know but I do know it just didn't make me want to like her at all. But you know what for some reason unknown to me, I did find myself empathising her. I liked the way she was always supporting her friends, even if they did seem to ditch her at a certain point, and she's always sticking up for herself, which is amusing because no one really ever takes her seriously except maybe Four. <i>(I have to admit I liked Katniss a whole lot better than Tris)</i></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Talking of Four, now he's your typical dark, brooding guy with a glint in his eye and trouble in his past. Who can really blame me for having a complete book crush on him? Seriously, who doesn't love the whole bad boy angle? This boy has secrets, but I don't really understand why some of them are secrets, they didn't seem that bad to me. Anyways He's described wonderfully and I was literally drooling at the mouth over him. One word. Yum!!</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">None of the other characters really made that big of an impression on me, they all seemed to be stuck within the typical stereotypes which I'm not a fan of. The only other character who I loved hearing about was Uriah. He's definitely my fav, even better than Four. He should really have received more face time in this book as I'm seeing him as being some kind of underdog in the coming books.</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
The story as a whole wasn't as action packed as THG but there was a lot of tension and suspicion to fill the void. I felt this book could have focused less on the initiation and more on the events in the final chapters. The way this book totally tops THG though is there's no pathetic attempt at a love triangle. Tris does have some interest from other boys but she quickly shoots them down, which just goes to show there is some girl power left out there. After all the indecision Tris may have over which faction to choose she is totally straight minded with who she wants, which is so refreshing. This book is totally awesome and totally DIFFERENT from other dystopia books I've read. I'm officially in love with this series and I'm currently hunting down the next in the series.</div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br />
</span>
<br />
<div style="-khtml-border-radius: 1px; -moz-border-radius: 1px; -webkit-border-radius: 1px; background-color: #e4c3c8; border-radius: 1px; border: 0px dashed #e4c3c8; padding: 15px;">
<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Since accepting a teaching position at remote Fairwick College in upstate New York, Callie McFay has experienced the same disturbingly erotic dream every night: A mist enters her bedroom, then takes the shape of a virile, seductive stranger who proceeds to ravish her in the most toe-curling, wholly satisfying ways possible. Perhaps these dreams are the result of her having written the bestselling book The Sex Lives of Demon Lovers. Callie’s lifelong passion is the intersection of lurid fairy tales and Gothic literature—which is why she’s found herself at Fairwick’s renowned folklore department, living in a once-stately Victorian house that, at first sight, seemed to call her name.
But Callie soon realizes that her dreams are alarmingly real. She has a demon lover—an incubus—and he will seduce her, pleasure her, and eventually suck the very life from her. Then Callie makes another startling discovery: Her incubus is not the only mythical creature in Fairwick. As the tenured witches of the college and the resident fairies in the surrounding woods prepare to cast out the demon, Callie must accomplish something infinitely more difficult—banishing this supernatural lover from her heart.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The first thing that drew me in was the cover (obviously), there's a lot of covers around with girls in pretty dresses on them so I was intrigued when this one seemed to stand out more than the others. There's a hint towards the wilderness portrayed in the book, although obviously I didn't know that at first I just thought it was pretty. Oh and maybe I'm a little in love with the dress.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Callie has been dreaming of a man since she was little but has never seen his face. It isn't until she moves to Fairwick and these dreams take an erotic turn does she even think the man from her dreams is real. In Fairwick Callie meets a whole host of supernatural creatures she never new exsisted and they teach her about who she is and the power she's capable of.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I really found myself enjoying this book, it wasn't all about erotic dreams as I first thought when I received it. There's a good story filled with love, longing and a whole load of mysteries. The town of Fairwick seems magical from the get go. The way its described I just longed to visit this enchanted little town. The characters however weren't described enough for me. Although we did get a background story on Callie and her incubus, there just wasn't enough on the other characters. I was left with a few questions on who they really where and what is it they wanted from Callie. Take her grandma for example, why didn't she tell her what she was? There was an explanation for this but I was still left with questions about it all.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Although the descriptive writing in this book was fantastic I didn't feel like the dialogue flowed as easily for me. It seemed stilted and unreal in some places, not enough to ruin the flow if the book but just enough for me to notice.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd recommend this book to lovers of fantasy not about vampires. As mentioned in the blurb this book does contain some erotic scenes so I would recommend it to of age fantasy fanatics.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I'm actually thankful to all bloggers because they all have different styles and ways of talking that I just can't pick a favourite one. Of the top of my head a blog I frequent often to see what they have on for the day is <a href="http://pinkfluffyhearts.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">PinkFluffyHearts</a>. There are a few people on that sight that are always offering new reviews and recommendations. </span></div>

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Welcome to The Booby Trap, a seedy bar where waitresses' skirts are high, necklines are low and customers show up for the eye candy.
When brainy, beautiful, Harvard Ph.D. candidate Bambi Benson wants to study the women of the the Booby Trap for her dissertation, she goes undercover and joins them. All is going well for Bambi until handsome local celebrity Trip Whitley enters the scene.
Hoping to shock his high-society family by dating a bimbo, Trip offers to pay Bambi to pretend to be his girlfriend. She accepts his offer and bides her time, waiting for the right moment to reveal her true identity and teach Trip not to judge based on appearances.
After a series of dates carefully orchestrated for their publicity value, Bambi's trap is set. But there's one problem: the predator might have fallen in love with her prey.</span></span></div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I started this book because I wanted a break from all the teenage angst I'd been reading about lately and this nice romance definitely scratched that itch. This story follows Bambi (that's really her real name) as she works in a 'seedy' bar, kind of like hooters, to help her with her dissertation. Whilst there she caters for a stag do where she meets the *cough* charming *cough* Trip Whitley (heir to a top dollar dating service). Trips family are all pretentious and trying to rule his life, so obviously he wants to teach them and the papers a lesson by dating this supposed 'bimbo'. But our Bambi aint no fool. She decides two can play at this game, and uses him for his money, although I loved this idea (and tbh would probably do that myself) I couldn't help but feeling it was one small step from prostitution.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This was exactly the type of book I'd love to read on a lazy summers day, lay on the beach ('cos I do that all the time, you know lol!). The story is easy to follow and moves at a nice easy pace, not saying its slow it's just not all action packed. There are some really funny parts in this book, I was always trying to cover up my big cheesy, especially at the end with all the 'awwww' moments. I loved Bambi, she's smart & hot & nice & considerate & humble. You know what thinking back, no I very much dislike her, she's too perfect for me. Trip however I didn't really get him, I so just wanted to slap him across the head. What is it with stupid boys. It was like dude, grow a pair and just tell her how you feel you numnuts.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was obvious from the start how this story was going to play out but you know what, I still liked it. It wasn't perfect but that just made me like it more. No book is perfect and you could feel the author's individual style in the way this book was written.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This book didn't contain any explicit content, but felt it was more of an adult book than a YA.</div>

She lives on the fringes of society and likes it that way.
When the man she loves takes another woman for his mate, the darkness in her heart unravels and she'll do anything to get him back. She makes a dangerous deal with a fire elemental, Heyerdar, who has a vested interest in agreeing: together they'll use forbidden magic, harnessing their sexual energy to drive the couple apart.
But soon their pact pushes them both into a dark sexual obsession. One that Ava may not be able to control .</span></span></div>

<b></b></span>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Judging by the cover I expected this book to just be all about steamy, steaminess. But let me tell you it was, yes it was steamy but there was also an interesting story as well. Which I have to say made it ten times better. This book has a lot more to offer than its cover.</span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">First off let's start with Ava. She's what's known as a thief, what they do is usually suck the magic out of people by eating them, yepp eating them. But Ava learns, after years of denying her hunger, that thief's don't have to be murderous monsters. Anyways Ava is a bit of a dweeb at first, she's in love with this guy (its always a guy isn't it?) and just does whatever he says without questioning it, she just goes on thinking the sun shines out his backside. Throughout the book Ava does come into herself more and soon she's playing with the big boys in the attitude department. I didn't really gel with this character, there was nothing wrong with her, I just didn't feel like I really cared what happened to her.</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Heyerdar though, boy did I care what happened to him. He's officially my new book crush! He's like full on alpha male, do as I say or I'll make you beg for mercy. Initially there didn't feel like anything was special about him, even though he's this all powerful elemental that does naked sunrise stretches (yumm), tbh he was a tad too arrogant for my liking. But throughout the course of the book I found myself just wanting to throw myself at his feet and letting him have his way with me. He was H.O.T!!</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As for the story as a whole it was good. There was a lot going on, which made it hard to follow sometimes but it definitely kept me interested. I kept trying to guess who the bad guy was, and yeah I was wrong, probably along with the rest of the world.</span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">
</span>

<br /><br /><br />
<b>My thoughts</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I love the re-telling of fairy tales and this was no different. I was overjoyed with the fact the author gave 'Snow White' a different name, seriously how many people would have called their baby snow? Instead the author chose to name her Katiyana, which incidentally does mean snow in the language of their forefathers. This isn't the only new thing that intrigued me about this book I don't want to give too much away so I won't tell you exactly what the differences are but dare I say they make this book better. There are some things that will never change about this book. Like the seven dwarfs, although their names and temperaments are different. I read this story in less than a day and I was absolutely in love with it. It was so different yet familiar all at the same time. I can't describe it. The ending was rather anticlimactic but it has to stay true to the original story so the author couldn't really do surprises. Although at the end there is a shocker that I actually hadn't seen coming, which I loved because you know its been a while and all that. I absolutely loved the way this story was told and from who's point of view it was told (I'll leave that as a nice surprise for you). I'd recommend this book to readers of any age as its just the right amount of old mixed with the new. In case you didn't guess, yeah I loved it.

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I loved the cover, it was all fairytale-esque, I just had to do my own interpretation of it (although it would have helped if I actually managed to finish it). I liked the colours and font used on the cover (even though the title is like crazy long). I didn't actually notice at first that the cover was us seeing Snow Whyte through the mirror, I think symbolism is totally lost on me. After I'd read the story though and understood what the cover was really about I was all 'oohh wow that's such a cool idea, how did I not notice that?'</span><br />

She lives with her husband, three daughters and cat named Matilda. <br />She's also wrote another fairytale re-telling style book <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11280254-cinder-and-ella" target="_blank">Cinder & Ella</a>, which I'm obviously off out buying now.

Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.
Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.
Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.
He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.</span></span></div>

Well, as normal as life can be when you can see souls and your boyfriend is Death. But for Pagan Moore, things are just getting weirder.
The high school quarterback and reigning heartthrob, Leif Montgomery, is missing. While the town is in a frenzy of worry, Pagan is a nervous wreck for other reasons. Apparently good ‘ol Leif isn’t your average teenage boy. He isn’t even human. According to Death, Leif doesn’t have a soul. The quarterback may have skipped town but he’s still showing up in Pagan’s dreams... uninvited.
Dank has known from the beginning Leif wasn’t human. But he hadn’t worried about a simple soulless creature. Now, he realizes he made a grave mistake. Pagan’s soul has been marked since birth as a restitution, to a spirit so dark not even Death walks near it. Dank knows saving Pagan’s soul won’t be easy but Pagan is his. And he’s already proven he’ll defy Heaven to keep her. If Hell wants a piece of him too, then bring it on.</span></span></div>

When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death’s devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her.
But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him.
When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other’s destiny. It’s time for Pagan’s soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death’s side or if she wants the mate created just for her.
Dank didn’t think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged. Until he realized that every kiss, every touch, every moment of their time together would be washed from her memories. He would have to win her heart all over again and prove to her soul that he was where she belonged.
If only her soul’s mate wasn’t right there standing in his way.</span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So going to review this trilogy all in one go because I just loved the books and have read the fist two twice and then the third one straight after. My minds like a pretty little sieve so I can't really remember what happens in each individual book.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So to start with how beautiful are the covers, come on look at them eyes. They just drew me straight in. The first one is definitely my favourite one. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So onto the story.. Well I loved the concept and after the first few chapters couldn't wait to see what was in store for Pagan. I remember there where some parts of the story that seemed a bit slow and tedious to me but for the most part the story kept a firm grasp on me.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In the first book I never did understand why Pagan went out with Leif for so long. I mean it was ages after she admitted her feelings for Death, yet they where still going out. Another thing as well if Dank knew he was in love with Pagan why did he continue to let her go out with a soulless creature? What's all that about? I loved how death was described. He's exactly how I'd imagine him to be if he was a person. He was all edgy and dark and obviously super sexy. I never really suspected Leif of anything dodgy till right to the end, then I was like wth? He seemed so cool, that just sucker punched me right in the gut, definitely made me want to go straight on to the next book (which wasn't possible the first time around).</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I loved the new twists in the second book, we got to find out exactly who Leif was and to be honest he turned into a bit of a creep, although he made himself feel a little more human at the end of the book. I loved the world that Leif lived in, the way it was described I could see it being a real place. I did end up feeling a bit sorry for Leif when I found out who his parents where and how he lived but it still doesn't make him any more likeable in my eyes.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Onto the last book, this was my favourite as I'd been finding Dank a little annoying in the last book so I got a good feeling from seeing him suffer just a little. Although I don't really think enough time was devoted to Pagan and Jay, seen as they where supposed to be soulmates and she was supposed to be making a hard choice between the two. It just felt a little too easy for Death.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway I loved all these books and would recommend them to everyone who hasn't yet read them (although I've yet to meet someone who hasn't), will definitely be going on to read more from Abbi Glines as I'm now officially in love with her writing style. </div>

<span style="background-color: none; color: #666666; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><i>“Welcome to Velesi, Princess.”</i>
<br />
It is Lily’s first day in the Velesi realm but not as the princess she was made to believe, but as a captive to a strange Lithi elf name Ziri – Tharin and Tolan’s mysterious brother. Who is he and why has he taken her? Or is he only a pawn in someone’s deadly game of chess?
Tharin and Lily discover a prophecy involving the Unnamed Sidhe and a way back to Eirrell, the birthplace of the Thirteen Clans. However, before they can get to the doorway to Eirrell, Lily must first make it to the Day of the Seating to take her rightful place on the throne of the Willow Clan.
Tharin must keep Lily safe until the Day of the Seating even if it means keeping the beautiful Sidhe warrior Kalis close to him. Will he be able to protect his naïve, but stubborn bride-to-be not just from Harlu but from his warrior mistress? He once again turns to his brother and cousin, to only find that Tolan has his own problems with his feisty Julia.
Thank goodness for the future king of Velesi that he has Phoris, Alorn and Mellis to cover his royal back.
Welcome to Velesi, a realm existing alongside our own with their own rules, their own players and their own way of life.</span></span></div>

</span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This book actually came out a day before it was said to be released, which totally twisted my knickers!! Come on I missed out on a whole day of reading. So not acceptable, seriously miss Filloon if I didn't love your book so much me and you would be having words.</span></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">So to the story I loved, loved, loved it. Seriously it had everything you could ask for. Drama, angst, laughter and love. The first half of the book was a little slow for me but I loved trying to figure out what was going on and who the bad guys really where, I was wrong every time like but we can't all have great minds. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This book takes off exactly where the first one left off (glad I re-read the first one right before). Like I said there wasn't much action in the first half but we where introduced to some amazing characters that I kept trying to figure out. We got to learn more about the Velesi realm and its history. The way Velesi was described just sounded so beautiful, I could feel myself being there in the story and didn't ever want to leave. </span></div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The book really picks up in the second half. There where lots more action and twice as much drama. I just wanted to slap Tharin silly sometimes, seriously has he ever met a girl before? There where some surprises, which I won't divulge to you.</span></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Even though I loved this book, Lily really grated on my nerves sometimes. She needed to stop second guessing herself and just get on with it. She wasn't the strong, independent, feisty girl from the first novel, she seemed more like the female protagonists in most YA novels. It was like once she realised she loved Tharin she forgave him for lying to her, her best friend and kissing another girl. Come on Lily where has your backbone gone? She had such promise in the first book and I feel kind of let down that she transformed into another of these drivelling idiots without a mind of her own. There where points when she redeemed herself and I felt myself internally cheering but there was just too much forgiving and not enough arse kicking from her. That being said this was still a great read and don't think I'll be able to wait a whole year for the next one.</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></div>
</div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Will definitely be reading this book again. It was fabulous despite my problems with Lily. </span></div>
</div>

Until Gray finds a way back inside her own body, she’s stuck being Charlene every twenty-hour hours. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave. Looking like a prep isn’t half as bad as hanging out with Charlene’s snotty friends and gropey boyfriend.
The “normals” of McKinley High might be quick to write her behavior off as post-traumatic stress, but warlock Raj McKenna is the only person who suspects Gray has returned from the dead.
Now Gray has to solve the mystery of her death and resurrection and disentangle herself from Charlene’s body before she disappears for good.<i>
***Entangled is a young adult paranormal fantasy romance suitable for ages 15 and up.***</i></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br />
</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I'd actually read this when it first came out on my kindle but totally forgot about it until I received an ARC copy of it. I'm so glad I got this book again though because I remembered how much it intrigued me and how much I wanted to read the next one in the series.</span></div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So starting with the story, basically its about Graylee and her twin sister Charlene who even though they look exactly the same they might as well be from different planets. Graylee is the nice, sweet one so obviously Charlene's the psychotic, popular one. Anyways some stuff happens Graylee ends up accidently dying and then their mum goes visiting some 'contact' to try and bring her back. Obviously though magic is tricky and Gray ends up sharing the body of Charlene for 24 hour intervals. Skipping to the end they think they've got everything sorted but no this is no fairy tale, is there ever such a thing as an happy ending?</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Okay so I loved this book the first time around and I loved reading it again, I still found parts of the book surprising and still wanted to see how it all ended (even though I new it wasn't any different from the first time round I was still on the edge of my seat). This story is definitely worth a read and at such a reasonable price on Amazon whats not to love? There where parts that I didn't find believable, such as the way the sisters treated each other, but I've watched Jeremy Kyle so maybe family members do act like that toward each other. I would have like more background information on the characters as it felt like I was just thrust straight into the main event, some times I need to be eased in to it.</span></div>
</div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I loved this book despite its flaws and went straight on to by the next in the series.</span></div>
</div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
