The first thing that drew me in was the cover (obviously), there's a lot of covers around with girls in pretty dresses on them so I was intrigued when this one seemed to stand out more than the others. There's a hint towards the wilderness portrayed in the book, although obviously I didn't know that at first I just thought it was pretty. Oh and maybe I'm a little in love with the dress.

Callie has been dreaming of a man since she was little but has never seen his face. It isn't until she moves to Fairwick and these dreams take an erotic turn does she even think the man from her dreams is real. In Fairwick Callie meets a whole host of supernatural creatures she never new exsisted and they teach her about who she is and the power she's capable of.

I really found myself enjoying this book, it wasn't all about erotic dreams as I first thought when I received it. There's a good story filled with love, longing and a whole load of mysteries. The town of Fairwick seems magical from the get go. The way its described I just longed to visit this enchanted little town. The characters however weren't described enough for me. Although we did get a background story on Callie and her incubus, there just wasn't enough on the other characters. I was left with a few questions on who they really where and what is it they wanted from Callie. Take her grandma for example, why didn't she tell her what she was? There was an explanation for this but I was still left with questions about it all.

Although the descriptive writing in this book was fantastic I didn't feel like the dialogue flowed as easily for me. It seemed stilted and unreal in some places, not enough to ruin the flow if the book but just enough for me to notice.

I'd recommend this book to lovers of fantasy not about vampires. As mentioned in the blurb this book does contain some erotic scenes so I would recommend it to of age fantasy fanatics.
